Robert’s work evokes many creative connections for me. He’s an illustrator as well as a painter which gives his artworks a unique constructive quality. Often his paintings are a composition of black lines filled with bold colour. His pencil artwork and paintings have that exquisite balance that is easily recognisable in a carefully considered composition. Plus he paints #Dachshunds which is always going to win me over.
