Roger Fry's 1925 painting entitled 'Garden at Cassis'. In a letter to Vanessa Bell he writes "I'm getting more and more to like this place for painting but as that always happens anywhere one goes along this coast I don't know that it means much. The port is lovely and I've found a motive in the Hotel garden and in a square a few yards off."
